Public vs Christian School

I was wondering what you all think about which is better, public or Christian school educations? I guess there are pros and cons to any debate. I also admit that my opinion is skewed by being a Christian school teacher. So I want to know what you think.
Obviously I feel strongly about the biblical based learning, but lets venture outside of that (unless you feel that biblical based learning isn't important). What are the other issues that separate the two types of schools?

    the advantage to a christian school, i feel like some people are more respectful just because it is a smaller environment and their held more accountable for the things they do or say in some situations. however not everyone is this way.

    one of the cons i would say for a christian school are wearing the uniforms...

    i think that private schools are better in education and it also has a biblical education but public has better sports and sometimes a better education

    I used to go to public schools and they were terrible. Christian Schools are WAY Better!

    well mr. d i really don't see a difference in public or christian schools the only major difference is being able to talk about GOD freely i mean you still have to deal with the same drama and the same type of students.... :)

    in public schools its harder for a christian to always express his/her beliefs. So if u a christian, then a christian school is most likely better and might even strengthen your Christianity.

    I think biblical based learning is important and if that is an option when choosing a school you should take up the opprotunity if it is the right thing for you.

    Christian Schools are much better than Columbus public! i experienced the most horrible public school and now i am at a christian school i can really see the difference

    well i used to be at a boarding school and it probably is as bad as it will get...but yeah christian school is more discipline so to speak

    were all tight! like ok.. when u graduate from a public school.. i bet you dont even know half the kids that were in ur class for years! in a christian school we tight! everyone knows everyone n u got 200 of the closest friends ur gonna have... so beat tht public school!!

    Christians school= can talk to God without question,get to know more people,

    Public School=More people, get to see how non Christians work, Have your faith and beliefs tested

    My personal opinion is that christian parents should start there children out in a christian school and give them the opportunity to choose the public option if the want to at a latter time in life. Public schools can be a mission ground for teens that are grounded in there faith, but if it could cause a teen who isn't grounded in Christ to fall.

    i think that christian schools are way better. its an environment that you can talk freely about God and be looked weirdly for believing in Him.

    from what i've seen of christian & public school goers, there are a lot of different aspects to this controversial topic. with public schools, people seem to like it a lot better for the freedom with their rules and whatnot, but if you really think about it, it isn't helping them in the long-run. it takes a lot for a kid not to get involved with bad things around public schools too, but there are a lot more opportunities there. education-wise i would say christian schools overrule, and i think it's more beneficial for student character i guess! christian schools: epic win.

    I like Christian schools better because they are smaller and there is a smaller student to teacher ratio. It helps me learn better and I can concentrate better.

    I don't know if this counts but I went to a charter school in 6th grade , if a public school is anything like a charter school , private schools should be the way to go
