Snow Days

I am a teacher in the Columbus area. And we want a snow day! We didn't get so much as a five minute break from this last storm, let alone a day off or an early dismissal. I think our former governor has made all the schools gun shy this year. Well I say pull the trigger! We have 3 to burn and if we have to make any of them up at the end of the school year, we can plan a school wide dodge ball tournament and a pizza party. So let's go school board...let the days off fly, because in the end...it will bring us all closer together!

    mr. d, i hate to break it to you buuuut due to the fact that the school board band dodge ball for the purpose of protecting the gym (not the students) im going to have to say the dodge ball tournament is a no-no. :)

    That is actually a good idea but it makes more sense to go to school more in the summer....DUH!!

    Who wouldn't want that? But I'm not sure if we can play dodge ball anymore at this school. It was banned about 3 years ago.
